SPARK Photo Festival Update April 30, 2024
The SPARK Photo Festival is a celebration of photography, and the artists, dreamers, innovators, storytellers, professionals and enthusiasts behind the camera lens. April 2024 brings the 11th annual festival with photographic exhibits popping up in locations throughout Peterborough city and county, Northumberland county and the City of Kawartha Lakes regions. Technical workshops, lectures, talks, films, and other related photographic events and activities take place year-round as well as during the festival.
As the 2024 Festival comes to a close, we offer our sincere gratitude to the photographers for bringing the 745+ creative photographs to the community in 26 exhibits, the 22 host venues for opening your doors (and walls) for the exhibits and our financial sponsors, including LLF Lawyers, the 2024 City of Peterborough Community Investment Grant, and our corporate and private sponsors, patrons and supporters, for making the free-to-visit Festival possible. Special thanks our dedicated volunteer board directors, who are not only active in the fund-acquisition, strategy and planning, but as doers of all things to make it all happen.
